We need additional board members. It's not particularly difficult, we have one board meeting the 3rd Tuesday of each month for about 2 hours. Sometimes we may ask for volunteers to participate in sub-committee discussions (currently we are making a ideal postal box location & quantity plan, and a flood area map).
Please consider donating some of your time to contribute to your community and make a real difference!
 
Update Saturday April 20th The two proposed Collections Policies below were discussed at the bi-annual membership meeting, and a motion was made to show membership endorsement for the version with Paving verbiage, and passed with a vote of 26 for, 6 against. The Board of Directors is taking that feedback and endorsement under consideration, and will most likely pass a new Collections Policy at the May Board Meeting. The Membership Meeting minutes will be posted to this site as soon as we get the draft from the Recording Secretary.

Orchidland is looking for a new paid Recording Secretary
Pays $12 per hour, average 10 hours per month. Attention to detail, punctuality, and must be able to attend all Road Meetings and Board meetings starting a 5:30pm on the 2nd & 3rd Tuesday every month. Must have own computer, and internet access and be able to send and receive documents via email.
